Yes, you can autonomously change your API credentials (such as username, password, host, port, or path) after registration.
This applies to both your testing and production environments. However, there are important considerations to keep in mind depending on the status of your integration.
Propagation Delay
Any changes to your API credentials may take up to 24 hours to be fully reflected in our backend systems. During this period:
- Some test calls may still be sent to the previous credentials, especially if your integration is still in the testing phase.
- This is expected behavior while the update propagates through all relevant services.
If Your Integration Is Live
If your integration is already in production (i.e., visible to suppliers and connected to live products), changing credentials can have immediate effects:
- All live products may be impacted if the new credentials are not fully active or properly configured.
- This could temporarily prevent availability/reservation updates from reaching our platform.
Important:
If your integration is already live and you are planning to change its credentials, please notify our team as early as possible. This allows our Connectivity department to:
- Actively monitor your integration post-change
- Take corrective actions quickly if any disruption occurs
